Church release regarding e.i.m.
Church family,
On Thursday of this past week, Rocky Goodwin, CEO of Evangelistic International Ministries, was arrested on charges of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
We have strong ties within our church family to this ministry, and our church has been a faithful supporter of E.I.M. for over twenty years.
After heavy consideration, and though we are fervently praying for the truth to be made known, the pastors and deacons have taken action to suspend our budgeted giving to E.I.M. at this time. In the event further information is made available, we will revisit and assess this decision at a later date.
Our pastors and deacons are in prayer for the ministry and staff of E.I.M. We ask that you join us in praying during this time.
